The renovation of a historic home located in a designated historical district involved transforming the property from a residential dwelling into a modern industrial-style office space. Originally built around 1890, and updated throughout the centuries, the home featured classic architectural elements, such as arched entrances, brick inlay, and original lime-based plaster parge coating, which were carefully preserved and integrated into the new design. In order to preserve the integrity of the history of the building, special care was taken in all stages of planning and implementation including: Structural Reinforcement and Preservation, Adaptive Reuse of Historic Features, Open Floor Plan and Layout Reconfiguration, Industrial Design Elements, Upgraded Mechanical Systems, Accessibility and Safety Upgrades, Exterior Renovation and Landscaping.
